Summary
On December 7, 1809, Jobst Heinrich’s wife had petitioned the Rentkammer to allow two payments instead of one for the plot of ground the Rentkammer had permitted to be alloted to Jobst Heinrich, where he could build a house, plant a garden of crops and perhaps house a few animals.
| Payment for the tract of land, the "erhebliches Kolonat", transferred only hereditary tenancy rights to the land not full ownership; ultimate title remained with the territorial authority. |
